We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to fill the role of a Permanent Finance & Operations Director at a renowned Children's Hospice, based in East London. The successful candidate will lead our Finance, HR & Facilities Departments, ensuring stability and strategic growth.

Client Details

Our client is a leading children's hospice based in East London. With a dedicated workforce, they provide palliative care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families.

Description

  • Lead the Finance, HR & Facilities Departments, ensuring stability and strategic growth
  • Develop and implement strategies in line with the hospice's goals
  • Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and auditing
  • Ensure compliance with financial & HR regulations and standards
  • Facilities management and procurement responsibilities.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board and stakeholders
  • Work closely with other department heads to optimise performance
  • Manage risks and opportunities
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to the HR, finance & facilities teams.

Profile

A successful Permanent FD should have:

  • A qualification in Accounting or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Non Profit Sector
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
  • Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
  • Experience with facilities management and procurement
  • Ownership of a HR function
  • Strong strategic planning skills with a focus on financial growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
