We are looking for a Senior Client Accounting Advisor to join our client's Accounting Department to work on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients.
ABOUT OUR CLIENT
Our client is a fully-fledged professional services firm working on specific business units in the areas of finance, corporate, tax, legal, and gaming, and is located in Naxxar.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for a portfolio of clients operating in varied industries and actively managing and enhancing relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of quality, efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Completing VAT returns and management accounts, and liaising with auditors.
- Managing their own workflows, workloads and deadlines.
- Preparing ad-hoc financial reports by analysing accounting information.
- Leading projects or tasks as delegated by Client Accounting Manager.
- Assisting team members as their primary point of contact and reviewing their work, ensuring effective communication and motivation in line with the company’s vision and values.
- Monitoring team performance and be involved in target setting.
- Assisting in the onboarding of clients.
- Re-assessing and proposing improvements to systems and processes as and when required.
- Identifying opportunities for growth.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a CSP environment following achievements of qualifications.
- Excellent command of accounting standards, Maltese VAT and tax legislation.
- Working against deadlines and delivering in a timely manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and preferably in the Maltese language. Knowledge of a third language is considered a plus.
- Working on your own initiative and in a team, with a pro-active approach.
- Building relationships with clients and having a passion for delivering exceptional service.
EDUCATION
ACCA qualified or equivalent.
WORKING TIME
Flexibility in starting time, from 07:30 till 09:30, 40 hours per week with 30 minutes break.
