Description & Requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Relevant University degree and professional qualifications (completed or in progress);
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a tax consulting practice, with a major exposure to corporate and international tax matters (i.e. specialized in corporate and international tax or with more than 75% exposure on corporate and international tax advisory);
  • Excellent command of Romanian and English - both speaking and writing;
  • Previous experience in business development is a significant plus;
  • Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication / presentation skills;
  • Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities;
  • Ambitious and willing for self improvement;
  • Out of the box mindset.

Our Tax division is well positioned for growth and a Senior Consultant is needed to support the team in delivering quality service to the client and pursue new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Advise clients in a range of different industries on various tax matters;
  • Actively support Managers and Partners in marketing & business development efforts – eminence building initiatives, client meetings and negotiations, drafting proposals etc.;
  • Perform tax checking within audit assignments;
  • Provide and/or monitor tax compliance to various clients;
  • Write and review tax advice for the client;
  • Handle multiple client engagements, ensuring high quality and timely delivery of service;
  • Actively involved in developing and delivering innovative tax services;
  • Manages teams of consultants, coaches more junior staff, delivers trainings to more junior staff;
  • Assists and/or facilitates as speaker in client events;
  • Maintain relationship with smaller clients and works towards becoming main point of contact.
