What you'll do

In your new role, you'll join our agile product team and own products in our Core Banking domain. Working with the Product Owner for your business area to find the best solutions

You'll also:
  • Conduct user research and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Build the best overall picture for your assigned product features and be the go-to person for information and updates on your product features.
  • Prioritise the squad backlog in consultation with engineers and the Product Owner.
  • Define Epics and break them down into detailed user stories and feature specifications in JIRA for the team to pick up and build (story, acceptance criteria and scenarios).
  • Work closely with Finance stakeholders to ensure that our Core Banking domain remains accurate and any new features are successfully integrated into Boxed's accounting model
The skills you'll need

You'll need previous experience in business analysis roles working in Core Banking areas such as, Ledgers, interest calculation, rewards calculation, fees calculation, payment reconciliation. You'll have excellent structured analytical skills with the ability to document requirements for complex and vast systems in a logical and understandable manner.

You'll also need:
  • The ability to write user stories for developers with clear and testable acceptance criteria
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills working across the product and engineering organisation with a wide set of teams
  • A strong understanding of good practice in the API space across specifications, operations and API schema design
  • The ability to write user stories for developers with clear and testable acceptance criteria
  • High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Relevant experience in some of the following areas: Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Embedded Finance, Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS), cloud native technologies would be highly desirable
