Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
- Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
- Assisting with the scheduling of fieldwork and booking of staff
- Assisting with the planning of stock counts and briefing of staff and notifying other managers
- Facilitation of and attendance at planning meetings with client
- Discussion of prior year issues and current year planning points with manager/partner
- Discussion of audit approach
- On the job training of staff & leadership of assignment team
- Delivery of progress/status reports to team manager/engagement leader
- Keeping abreast of industry/client developments

- Ability to communicate effectively with the team, other PwC staff, and clients
- Good spelling, editing, proof-reading, punctuation, and grammar skills; effective listening skills; and
- Strong IT skills are essential
Minimum years experience required
- Applicants must have been trained at a major accounting firm and should be qualified accountants possessing a professional designation (ACA, ACCA, or CPA)
- Candidates should have obtained between 1 to 3 years of post-qualification experience, which includes 1 to 2 years of experience as an Audit Senior in a professional services firm
