Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical audit function, ensuring compliance with relevant audit standards, professional guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and guidance to audit teams on complex accounting and auditing issues.
• Review and enhance the firm's audit methodologies, templates, and tools to align with best practices.
• Monitor changes in auditing standards and regulations, ensuring timely implementation and communication to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver training programs to upskill audit teams on technical standards and practices.
• Act as a subject matter expert in resolving technical queries and managing technical reviews.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive audit quality and innovation.
• Lead and manage projects related to audit technical initiatives, including quality improvement measures and compliance programs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA) with a strong academic background in accounting, finance, or related fields.
• A minimum of 10 years of audit experience, with at least 5 years in a technical or quality assurance role within a professional services firm.
• Deep understanding of International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Proven experience in managing multiple stakeholders and leading technical projects.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a track record of mentoring and developing talent.
