This is a Group Treasury Manager position with a market leading shipping company. You will lead strategic initiatives from HQ level, oversee global treasury operations for several subsidies under the group.

My client has a strong global presence, is one of the largest marine logistic carrier in the world. Owners to a large fleet of vessels, the company is active in acquisitions to grow their fleet, capitalising on attractive opportunities in the markets. Treasury function plays a critical role to support such activities and the business is looking to hire a Group Treasury Manager for business continuity needs.
Description
Reporting to the CFO, you will:
- Oversee Treasury operations, maximise and optimise currency operations, cash pooling/management efficiently for the group
- Prepare monthly budgets and forecast, cashflow/financial analysis, payments processes and ensure compliance/KYC
- Monitor interest rates, FX hedging requirements, establish strong business partnership with financial institutions to ensure effective and optimal long term banking solutions
- Lead end to end implementation of Treasury Management System (TMS) via Kyriba
- Provide support to financing team, collate necessary loan documents to facilitate smooth transactions
Profile
- Degree qualified in Accounting/Finance/Economics, with over 10 years of working experience
- Group/HQ level Treasury experience, execute business initiatives alongside senior management
- Proficient in leading end to end TMS implementation such as Kyriba
- Managerial experience to lead a treasury team
- Strong business partner to build banking relationships with financial institutions, drive cross functional collaboration in the organisation
