Description
- Strategic Financial Oversight: Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies that support sustained business growth and stability. This includes developing a sound understanding of the industry, providing insights, and forecasting future industry trends to position the company advantageously.
- Financial Reporting and Analysis: Supervise the timely delivery of forecasts and other financial reports to the APAC regional office and head office. Deliver executive analysis and take proactive actions as part of the business management process, ensuring that financial insights guide strategic decisions.
- Operational Efficiency: Lead and enhance operational efficiencies at finance functions and the financial shared services centre. Drive effective and efficient procurement and the business-enabling processes, ensuring that financial operations are streamlined and cost-effective across all subsidiaries.
- Compliance and Standards Integration: Ensure rigorous compliance with both company and statutory policies, streamlining and integrating finance standards and processes across subsidiaries.
- Business Continuity and Risk Management: Develop and regularly update business continuity processes and contingencies. Manage financial risks comprehensively, safeguarding the organisation's assets and financial health.
- Strategic Initiatives and Global Business Implementation: Spearhead the effective implementation and advancement of global business systems within Greater China.
- Facilitate and support key business meetings, including Board of Directors meetings of JVs, acting as a critical stakeholder in strategic discussions and board process.
- Budgeting and Financial Performance Management: Formulate budgets in line with business performance and growth requirements. Drive revenue generation and control expenditures to achieve budgeted contributions and margins. Maintain vigilance over revenue and profit performance, and provide strategic direction, advice, and recommendations to ensure financial objectives and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) are met.
Profile
JV management experience is a must
M&A and post intergration experience is a big plus
Fluent English and team management skills
