Client Service and Delivery Specialist
Responsible for supporting the Client Service Delivery Manager on overall client service and delivery across all applicable disciplines (Custody, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, or Middle Office Outsourcing) for one or multiple clients. Facilitates efforts of the service team and other internal stakeholders, coordinating resources to ensure timely delivery and issue-resolution, and effectively communicating client concerns/needs to internal partners.
Major Responsibilities:
- Along with the Client Service Delivery Manager, act as the client contact representing all applicable product disciplines and provides for escalation on client queries and issue resolution.
- Responsible for identifying and addressing service issues as and when they arise.
- Assist the Client Service & Delivery Manager with setting up client service reviews and due diligence visits within each of the key product areas (Custody, Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, or Middle Office Outsourcing).
- Monitor performance against Service Level Descriptions.
- Partners with Client Service & Delivery Manager and Relationship Manager/s to ensure issues are communicated and escalated in a timely manner both internally and directly with the client(s).
- Assisting the Client Service Managers with overall project planning for key clients, inclusive of ensuring all relevant internal and external parties are aware of ongoing projects, meeting their respective deliverables and keeping the client informed of progress towards project completion.
- Review, approve and ensure timely publication of monthly reporting to consultants/clients including calculating KPI levels.
- Provide operational insight to Relationship Manager for tasks such as at-risk reporting, relationship plans, and executive engagement planning.
- Partner with the Client Service Delivery Manager and the Relationship Manager to oversee complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues.
- Consistently displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, consulting with the rest of the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity.
- Helps assess, understand, and capture change impacts, identifying the associated stakeholders impacted by those changes.
- Acts as a centralized technical resource and subject matter expert for various tasks associated with client/account and product/service changes.
- Collaborates closely with the team and key stakeholders on various projects to facilitate planning and enhance efficiencies.
Knowledge/Skills/Experience
- Experience in client servicing and/or related investment management outsourcing and fund administration management accounting/operations
- A College or University degree and/or general finance and portfolio management knowledge through proven work experience
- Technical knowledge of trust or asset management and accounting, usually acquired through related work experience is required to manage overall client service.
- Knowledge of fund structures, general finance, and portfolio management concepts
- Skills in negotiation, delegation, leadership, and client servicing
- Functional / Industry Knowledge
