We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Financial Accountant to join our client on a full time and permanent basis. This position will suit a detail oriented Finance professional to manage Financial Reporting and analysis with the ability to work collaboratively with team members and other internal teams.

Our client, a Manufacturing business based in East Kent have a significant presence in the UK market and are now seeking a Financial Accountant to join them on a full time basis. They genuinely care about their workforce and pride themselves on being inclusive, supportive and true champions of a great working culture.
This position offers a hybrid working pattern with the successful candidate coming to the office two to three days per week.
Description
Financial Accountant responsibilities include;
- Analyse monthly financial findings and communicate key variances, investigating anomalies
- Delivering accurate and timely financial analysis to support business decisions
- Managing budgets and forecasting future financial requirements
- Assist with monthly close processes
- Completing material costings within SAP
- Own fixed asset reporting and liaise on projects
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Handle internal audit submissions and governance
- Supporting external audit processes
- Authorize bank payments
- Conduct ad-hoc financial data analysis
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant should have/ be:
- Professional Accounting Certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent (QBE)
- Extensive knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
- Previous experience using SAP is desirable
- Strong analytical and strategic planning skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Strong communication skills
