Our client is headquartered in Singapore, has robust presence in APAC and USA with it's core business in manufacturing activities. As part of their expansion and acquisition plans, they are seeking a dynamic Tax Accountant to manage the function in the APAC region.
about the job
In this role, you will report to the Finance Director and be working with the local finance team & in-country finance teams across the APAC region consisting of 6 markets for all tax compliance related activities. You will be hands on in implementing transfer pricing policies and strategies, conducting analysis to support the intercompany transactions. You will also be kept updated on any legislative changes and trends in the region and be an advisor to the stakeholders on areas relating to tax compliance.
skills and experience required
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent and have regional experience in a similar capacity. Prior experience in big 4 audit firms will be advantageous. You should be comfortable being in an individal contributing role and be meticulous, agile and have strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders effectively.
