Accounts Receivable Officer

Drive the accounts receivable process ensuring collection of outstanding debts and administration is achieved correctly, providing support to the wider finance team when required. The position is based in Melbourne's Western Suburbs and offers an opportunity to grow and develop within a successful team.

Description

Job duties will include but are not limited to:

• Ensure the accurate processing of account payments received and banking receipts
• Set up and maintain all customer accounts on the system
• Track debtor notes and perform bank reconciliations
• Communicate and follow up with customers in regard to outstanding balances and advise the Accountant accordingly
• Prepare regular reports on outstanding balances for the AR Manager

Profile

The successful applicant should have:

• Hands on experience of the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including collections
• Competency using Microsoft Excel for manual processes
• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
