Senior Accountant - Zaventem - Security Industry

Our client is one of the leaders in the security industry and is looking for a new Senior Accountant to reinforce their Finance Team in Belgium.

Our client operates in the security industry, specializing in cash management and secure logistics. It provides services such as cash collection, processing, and transportation, as well as digital payment solutions and secure storage. With a global presence, it supports businesses and financial institutions in managing their monetary assets efficiently and safely.

For the HQ in Belgium they are looking for a new Senior Accountant to reinforce their Finance Team. We are looking for someone who is experience in doing Accounting from A to Z for a belgian entity.

Description

• Booking and verifying invoices
• Updating bank records (bank statements & CODA files)
• Following up on outstanding customers and suppliers
• Processing payments
• Performing reconciliations
• Ensuring the smooth operation of financial processes and reporting
• Assisting with VAT declarations
• Supporting monthly and annual closings
• Assisting with audits
• Ensuring compliance with local Belgian legislation

Profile

• Bachelor or Master in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Accounting
• Analytic skills
• Accurate & organized
• Teamplayer
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of Navision is an asset
• Native/Fluent in either Dutch or French with basic knowledge of the other language.
• Good knowledge of English language
