Overview of the role:
A finance professional to manage financial information for real estate development projects. This role involves overseeing the finance regional team, ensuring alignment with Group Finance objectives, and supporting the Finance Controlling team with fixed assets and daily operations. The candidate should have strong managerial and detail-oriented skills, as well as knowledge of compliance and governance. Effective communication and collaboration are essential for success in this position.
What you will do:
- Ensures an accurate & timely month, quarter & year-end closing providing all necessary regular & irregular analysis.
- Maintaining the Chart of WBS, AUC creation, profit, and cost centers related to the development activities toensure adequate and proper classification among FS presentations.
- Prepare the monthly reconciliation for the management reports.
- Ensure a clean & timely year-end audit and assist with financial audits, prepare audit schedules, and interface with auditors.
- Responsible for preparing and distributing timely, accurate the actual VS budget statement across all fixed assets along with all the analytical reports related and non-related to the financial statements.
- Participate in special projects, ERP implementation, system enhancements, or ad hoc analyses as assigned.
- Ensure that the provided data to the management are reliable and with a high level of accuracy.
- Ensure that all the financial transactions are properly accounted forin the General Ledger and in the correct cost and profit centers, and WBS.
- Maintaining accurate cost recognition, capitalization databases, and inventory analysis per unit for all our development projects.
- Ensure all month-end entries are passed in the system.
- Monitoring bookings of accruals, provision use, and no longer required.
Required Skills to be successful:
- Minimum of 7 Years of relevant experience in the Real Estate sector.
What equips you for the role:
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards and IFRS.
- Solid background in real estate sector accounting.
- Strong knowledge of ERP Software is necessary; SAP and PMWEP will be preferred.
