What You Will Do

The Kenvue Procurement Finance team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst located in Prague, Czech Republic to support our Procurement organization in identifying & managing suppliers, negotiating contracts and executing on our strategy. The position relies on building meaningful business partnerships as well as engaging and driving collaboration with other finance teams, such as Global Source Finance, Regional Supply Chain Finance, Principal, Inventory & Costing (PIC).

The role requires both detailed analytics as well as an ability to operate from a big picture perspective to ensure alignment with Supply Chain Procurement strategies. This includes the reporting & analytics of procurement spend across sourcing categories and actively driving transparency of key financial metrics to deliver maximum value for the business and enable decision making. Therefore, the successful candidate should have strong background in technical and analytical abilities as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. This position will also be a relied member of the Global Source Finance team and contribute towards and drive key process improvement / standardizations, such as PPV (Purchase Price Variance) reporting, EM directed-buy & standard costing process etc. Due to the nature of the position, we welcome applicants from other EU countries with right to work in Prague and we offer support with relocation for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Business partner with the Procurement team to maximize GP improvement & deliver a sustainable savings pipeline; Contribute towards creating analysis and providing financial transparency
  • Actively review and influence pre-negotiation strategies and supplier agreements to align with preferred terms and drive value opportunities
  • Drive transparency and insights into the financial implications of external market forces (e.g., inflation) and develop robust modelling to explain & forecast changes to supplier spending.
  • Own processes critical for the month-end closing and regional consolidation/reporting as well the development of the Direct Materials and External Manufacturing category scorecards
  • Ensure proactive compliance with respect to Global Savings Policy and general accounting and business policies & procedures
  • Leads Business Planning process and forecast update cycles with the Procurement team including standard costing process and P&L forecasting
  • Prepare management review decks and effectively frame & communicate business insights to senior management to help inform and drive fact-based decisions
  • Support benchmarking activities to ensure the strategy is in line with industry’s best practices
  • Leverage available data and technologies to lead process improvements within the Source Finance team that can be scaled-up and standardized across regions/categories
  • Build and foster a transparent & collaborative partnership with the other key finance teams (PIC, Regional SC, Global Source)

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required preferably a major in Accounting or Finance. 
  • Master’s degree or other financial certifications (i.e. CPA, CMA) are preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of finance or related business experience is required (FMCG Supply Chain experience would be preferred)
  • Solid communication and presentation skills. 
  • Controlling and business partner experience highly recommended.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
  • Excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required
  • Strong technical and analytical background. 
  • Good proficiency in using Alteryx is an advantage
  • Individuals must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
