DISCOVER THE ROLE 
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accounting Manager to lead and oversee our general accounting and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing monthly closing activities, and ensuring compliance with local accounting standards. This role requires strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and oversee timely and accurate management of general accounting and reporting processes, including but not limited to processing journal entries, calculating accruals, and managing allocations.
  • Take ownership of ensuring proper reconciliation of reports and accounts, implementing advanced techniques to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Take charge of monthly closing activities and lead the reconciliation of balance sheets, ensuring adherence to deadlines and accuracy standards.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local accounting standards, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and support to junior team members in understanding and implementing these standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for coordination with Local Office and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive team productivity and accuracy by setting and achieving performance metrics, actively contributing to the attainment of team goals.
  • Identify opportunities for optimization and sharing best practices across the team.
  • Provide mentorship and support to the team, assisting in the achievement of performance objectives and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
  • Extensive experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Accounting.
  • Proficient in ensuring accurate reconciliation of reports and accounts.
  • Advanced proficiency in Office 365, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics ERP (preferable).
  • Excellent English language skills (B2), both written and spoken, facilitating effective communication across diverse teams and stakeholders.
