Payroll Analyst

I am delighted to be supporting a business in their search for a fixed term Payroll Officer for initially a four month contract with the potential to be extended past this.

My client is based in Nottingham, commutable from wider Nottinghamshire and parts of Derbyshire. This is a flexible, hybrid opportunity and the candidate can expect to be joining a reputable, established business.

Description

• Reviewing employee records to determine payroll costs, including taxes, deductions, and benefits
• Processing Payroll
• Calculating employees hours worked, payroll deductions and processing requests for pay increases or decreases
• Support the Payroll Manager with reports on payroll trends to make decisions about staffing levels, pay rates and benefits package
• Review payroll records for accuracy and correcting errors
• Reconciling payroll records with accounting records

Profile

• Have intermediate excel experience
• Have experience working in a Payroll related role
• Be process driven
• Be analytically minded
• Have experience working in a fast paced environment

Job Offer

The successful candidate can expect a starting salary c£35-36,000 + 3 days home working + a flexible contract ending March 2025 with the potential to be extended or made permanent
