Advance your career within our Business Services team, where you will support a diverse range of clients from start-ups to very large businesses across a range of industries. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, highly motivated, team player, who is innovative and has a strong focus on providing exceptional client service. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our Partners in providing accounting services such as tax compliance and client advisory. This may include the preparation of income tax returns, financial statements, business activity statements (BAS), and instalment activity statements (IAS).
What you will bring to our team
This is an exciting career opportunity for a positive, proactive, and motivated professional with experience in a similar role. A real team player, you will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualified in a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or Bachelor of Commerce
- Previous work experience in a similar tax accountant role
- Eligibility for, or currently completing/completed a CA or CPA qualification
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think critically, identify and solve problems
- Confidence when communicating and excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong IT skills as well as willing and able to learn new technologies
- Professionalism, partnered with an organised and proactive style.
