About the Role
As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible to provide efficient and qualitative service to portfolio of assigned clients in Accounting and Tax department. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and in line with internal client’s regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.
You will report directly to Team Leader Accounting and Tax.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare local and consolidated financial statements, balance sheets and annual reports;
- Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers and other involved parties in order to obtain the required information for reporting purposes;
- End to End ownership of assigned clients;
- Monitor and review accounting and related reports for accuracy and completeness;
- Prepare and file the statutory tax reports to the Tax Office as well as relevant reports to other concerned authorities;
- Assist proactively with on-boarding of new clients and accommodating their requirements;
- Ensure ongoing processes and deliverables a high-quality accounting service to assigned portfolio of clients;
- Resolve business issues and issues with the clients proactively, identify savings and efficiency in operations;
- Communicate with the assigned clients;
- Keep up to date with changes in tax and accounting legislation;
- Complete timely and accurate other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor, DCS or top management.
Key Requirements
- Good knowledge of accounting and cost control principles;
- Excellent knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles, and experience in preparation of Annual Accounts;
- Experience in preparation of yearly income tax statements according to country regulations;
- Experience in reconciliation between IFRS and country GAAP;
- You must be fluent in Swedish and English
- Good IT knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software and with Excel in particular
