About the role
As an Accountant in TMF Group, you will be responsible to provide efficient and high quality service to portfolio of assigned clients. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and in line with internal clients’ regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.
Through work for various clients from different industries, you will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge of financial complexities. You will get industry best practice here and be up to date with the latest accounting standards and local legislations (TMF Bulgaria is ACCA approved employer).
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
- Processing the accounting data into company accounting system;
- Preparing financial statements, including reporting to various authorities such as VAT returns, statistical reports, etc.;
- Ensure the completeness, accuracy and quality of the accounting information;
- Support the audits of the clients;
- Provide on the job training and coordinate the junior members of the team;
- Work in a team in solving accounting and tax issues;
- Regular communication and cooperation with the clients of the company;
- Preparing routine correspondence to various parties.
About you
The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with proven track record in bookkeeping and preparing of VAT tax returns. Possesses good knowledge of local GAAP coupled with exemplary people skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.
Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- At least 2-3 years of relevant accounting experience;
- Very good knowledge in accounting and tax legislations;
- Previous experience in multinational company and in outsourcing service company is an advantage;
- Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues;
- Willingness and ability to work in a team;
- Ability to excel in challenging and fast-paced environments;
- Very good level of English;
- Very good computer literacy
