Manager Finance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and accuracy of financial reports, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and statutory disclosure requirements.
2. Monthly Financial Statements: Supervise the timely preparation, review, and analysis of monthly financial statements to identify and rectify any discrepancies.
3. Statutory Compliance: Review quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial statements to ensure they reflect a true and fair view of the company’s performance, in line with International Financial Reporting Standards and the Companies Ordinance, 1984.
4. Audit Coordination: Collaborate with internal and statutory auditors to facilitate timely audits and reviews, ensuring all recommendations are implemented effectively.
5. Revenue and Debtor Management: Oversee invoicing, receipts, and debtor control, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and managed.
6. Budgetary Control: Exercise strict budgetary controls over the company’s expenditures, providing detailed variance reports to the Management Committee.
7. Asset Management: Review the Fixed Assets Register, monitor capital job status, and oversee the closure and disposal of work in progress.
8. Payment Approval: Approve timely payments for supplies, services, and government dues, including income tax and sales tax, as prepared through final accounts.
9. Costing and Inventory Valuation: Review and approve costing and inventory valuation statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
10. ERP Implementation: Coordinate with software developers and consultants to ensure the successful implementation of Oracle/ERP software.
11. Authorized Signatory: Act as an authorized signatory for the company, ensuring all financial transactions are executed with due diligence.
12. Additional Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Financial Officer and senior management.
