We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team in Vietnam. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing strategic insights to drive business growth and maintain financial compliance. You will work closely with both the local and global finance teams, ensuring smooth coordination and accurate financial transactions across regions.

Description

Reporting directly to Finance & Accounting Director, your responsibilities include:

  • Ensure compliance with Vietnamese laws and global accounting standards, and maintain accounting controls through policies and procedures.
  • Manage monthly closing processes, ensuring accurate financial statements, and prepare financial reports (balance sheet, profit & loss).
  • Coordinate with the Global Finance Service team in Malaysia for accounting records and reporting, and recommend financial actions based on analysis.
  • Audit financial transactions for accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and ensure data security through regular backups.
  • Lead the statutory audit by preparing documents, collaborating with auditors, and recommending improvements.
  • Handle daily accounting tasks such as bank transactions, payments, receivables/payables, VAT invoicing, and data entry.
  • Coordinate with internal departments, auditors, and external parties to ensure smooth operations.

Profile

The Successful Applicant:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, taxation, and cash management.
  • Background in corporate accounting or Big-4 audit firms with versatile expertise in statutory accounting, consolidation, local audit, and tax.
  • Willingness to contribute as an individual contributor while managing diverse tasks to support the business.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS policies, with practical expertise in IFRS 16.
  • Experience working as a Finance Business Partner and collaborating closely with business departments is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, and experienced with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English at a professional business level.
