Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and customer obsessed individual for the role as Executive Assistant to support UK Accounting directors.
The position will serve as the single point of contact for all administrative organization. The Executive Assistant is responsible for arranging meetings, scheduling travel, submitting expenses, organizing events, monitoring meeting actions and providing direct support to the Directors. This role is also responsible for managing multiple tasks and action items (documentation, follow up and preparation) for the Directors, ensuring appropriate and timely action on deliverables. The position requires the capacity to work successfully in a remote team environment, build effective working relationships inside and outside of the team, while keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, standards, services, facilities, procedures and related information in order to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, organized planner with demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility. The candidate will possess the ability to complete high volumes of tasks with minimal guidance or supervision and deadline sensitivity. As such, the candidate must be skilled at anticipating problems, creating contingency plans, managing multiple priorities, problem solving and organizing logistics. Key to the position is the ability to keep the Directors organized, prioritized and on time while serving as a "go to" for all areas and departments which dovetail with the departments. This candidate will support the Directors in maintaining excellent rapport with internal service providers, cross-functionally with other business groups and departments, employing insightful and knowledgeable communications to foster a cooperative and communicative atmosphere.
This position is office-based at our Amazon London HQ.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience leading process improvements
