Amazon is looking for interns to perform certain accounting activities in APAC accounting team. This position will be responsible for proper and accurate accounting of certain business operations and supporting audit. The duration of the internship will be 24 weeks start from Nov 2024. The intern will work in the Amazon Beijing office.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a highly collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment. They should have a strong understanding of financial statements, excellent communication skills (including the ability to identify and communicate controllership risks), and a passion for continuous process improvement.
WHAT WILL YOU GAIN?

-\tHands-on experience supporting accounting daily operations, audit and new business initiatives

Key job responsibilities
-\tSupport month-end financial closing
-\tMake sure the proper reconciliation of accounts
-\tSupport internal and external audit
-\tCollaborate with global teams on continuous improvement projects
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
-\tGraduate between Jun 2025 to Sept 2026, currently working towards a Bachelors (BS) or Masters (MS) in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field.
-\tProficient in written and verbal communication in English
-\tSkilled in Microsoft Office Excel (including pivot tables, vlookup, etc.)
-\tAble to work 3-4 days per week for a minimum of 5 months
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-\tGood ability to influence others, strong analytical skills
-\tExperience in using Python, QuickSight, SQL, Alteryx
