Interim Financial Accountant to support a large public sector organisation who provide support and assistance throughout the UK. You will work within a dedicated team and the contract will be for an initial 3 months but could go on longer.

Our client is large public sector organisation based in London but has hubs throughout the UK.
Description
As in Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the production of financial statements
- Lead the production of whole of government accounts
- Support the Head of the Financial Accounts Team on the relationship with National Audit Office and external auditors during external ensuring a good working relationship, excellent communication and delivery of on-time and accurate financial and other information
Profile
The interim Financial Accountant will hold a full accounting qualification and has worked in a similar role within the public sector, ideally within central government. As this is an interim position candidates will need to be available on short notice. Exposure to IFRS will be beneficial along with having an audit background.
Job Offer
You will earn £400-£450 per day for an initial 3 months contract and gain experience working with various stakeholders in the public sector.
