As the Team Lead, you will oversee and validate payment requests, manage payment schedules, and review bank reconciliations and tax assessments to ensure compliance and accuracy. You will also lead staff training, participate in system improvements, and refine processes to enhance efficiency and internal controls.

Description
- Oversee and validate payment requests submitted by the team
- Coordinate and schedule payment runs for institutions, ensuring payments are executed according to the established schedule
- Examine bank reconciliations completed by the team, ensuring that any discrepancies are promptly addressed and transactions with Direct Debit Authorisation arrangements are cleared
- Review withholding tax assessments to confirm that tax returns comply with Singapore's Withholding Tax regulations
- Participate in system enhancement projects, including User Acceptance Testing
- Supervise, train, and manage staff, including setting performance KPIs and conducting regular feedback sessions
- Assess and refine work processes to enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
Profile
- Diploma in Accountancy or a related field
- 5 years of accounting experience with 1 year of supervisory experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Self-motivated and capable of handling multiple tasks to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
- Customer-focused with strong service attributes and a collaborative team spirit to achieve successful outcomes
