Tax Accountant (Oil and Gas)

Reporting to the Tax Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible in overseeing corporate tax compliance, transfer pricing, GST, Global Trader program and other tax matters.

Description

• Prepare and file corporate income tax and GST returns
• Work with tax agents on ACAP renewal and transfer pricing documentation
• Manage the annual renewal process for GTP incentives
• Respond to IRAS queries and assist with tax audits
• Prepare tax provisions, deferred tax, and investment allowance calculations
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and industry standards
• Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned

Profile

• Degree in Accountancy/Business or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
• Candidates with professional qualification like CA, ACCA, CPA, or tax accreditation are highly encouraged to apply for the role
• Experience with energy/ oil and gas will be beneficial
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
• Meticulous and detail-oriented
