Position: Taxation Lead
Qualification: Qualified / Part Qualified accountant from a top 4 firm (PwC, KPMG, EY, Deloitte)
Experience: 10 Years (Manufacturing experience pereffered).
Salary: Market Competitive
Location: Karachi

Key Responsibilities:

* Tax Planning and Strategy:
Develop strategies to minimize tax liability and maintain compliance.
Conduct market research to identify tax-saving opportunities and advise senior management.
* Tax Compliance:
Oversee accurate and timely filing of all tax returns (income, sales, etc.) and secure necessary exemptions.
Review tax documents to ensure accuracy.
* Tax Accounting and Reporting:
Work with accounting to ensure proper tax treatment in financial reports.
Review tax provisions and disclosures per applicable standards.
* Tax Audits:
Manage audits, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with external advisors to resolve disputes.
* Tax Compliance Governance:
Develop and enforce tax policies, procedures, and controls.
Monitor internal controls to ensure data integrity and mitigate tax risks.
* Tax Risk Management:
Assess and mitigate tax risks associated with business activities and transactions.
* Tax Technology and Systems:
Optimize ERP software for tax compliance and stay updated on tax tech trends.
* Tax Training and Education:
Provide training to finance and other departments on tax policies and updates.
