As a Finance Analyst at Burberry, you'll be assisting our UK Internal Manufacturing finance team to support month end processes and commercial finance activities. Your role will play a key part in driving performance, pro-actively looking for value creation opportunities, enabling business decision-making and championing cost and margin focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of your responsibilities as the Finance Analyst will include:
- Month end processes, including:
- Journal preparation and execution
- Inventory Valuation
- Reconciliation and confirmation of specific balance sheet accounts
- Preparation and delivery of variance analysis, reviewing reporting and escalation
- Completion of half year and year end additional financial information
- Support in supplying product costing information to the business and working with internal PD and sourcing teams to engineer product to a target cost
- Collaborating cross-functionally with various departments to gather relevant data, ensure accuracy of financial information and drive alignment on financial objectives
- Assisting in the development and submission of financial forecasts and budgets
- Supporting Director of Finance & Strategy with meeting preparation and note taking

- Excellent communication skills with experience of supporting, influencing and challenging items
- Experience of working with multiple information sources, data and analytics
- Works on own initiative; self-motivated; adaptable; able to work in fast-paced, changeable environment; solution-driven
- Strong analytical background, with a good attention to detail
