Market Surveillance Officer

• Alert Analysis and Verification:
  Analyse client behaviour for signs of abusive, manipulative, or illegal trading practices. Gather necessary information from clients and exchanges to accurately assess activities.
• Notifications:
  Report potential market abuse activities to Compliance, providing detailed information and analysis to facilitate corrective measures.
• Management Reporting:
  Contribute to management reports by documenting relevant client activities, statistical data, and analysis outcomes.
• Risk Control Monitoring:
  Monitor risk controls related to business operations, identify weaknesses, and provide regular reports to business lines and risk control functions. Participate in internal and external discussions with a risk aspect.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Knowledge of market surveillance tools and procedures.
• Understanding of trading procedures, processes, and regulations in Hong Kong markets.
• Familiarity with trading, exchanges, and client operations.
• High level of IT literacy.
• Proactive in identifying and presenting solutions to support business activities and plans.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent command of the English language.
