Senior Accountant

Description

• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
• Meet financial accounting objectives
• Collaborate with financial team and managers on budget forecasting and performance metrics
• Ensure compliance with all internal processes
• Review and recommend changes to company financial policies

Profile

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Professional certification (e.g. ACCA, AAT, QBE)
• Proficiency in accounting software
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proven experience in a similar role within the professional services industry
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
