Description
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and financial analysis. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP).
Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the annual budgeting process, including monthly and quarterly forecasts. Analyze variances and provide insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
Cash Flow Management: Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs. Optimize working capital and oversee cash management strategies.
Internal Controls & Compliance: Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets. Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and corporate policies.
Cost Control & Profitability: Drive cost-saving initiatives and analyze profit margins. Provide recommendations for improving operational efficiency and financial performance.
Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Support team members in their professional growth and development.
Audit & Tax Coordination: Liaise with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate audits and tax filings. Address any audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization within the finance department. Lead projects to enhance financial systems and reporting capabilities.
Strategic Support: Partner with senior management to provide financial insights that align with the company's strategic goals. Support key business initiatives and contribute to long-term planning.
Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred)
- 20+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, with at least 10 years in a financial controller or similar role
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
