Job Title: Finance Coordinator
Location: Enderby, Leicester

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance Coordinator to join our Travel & Expenses team at Next Plc's Head Office in Enderby. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing our travel and expense processes, supporting our financial controls, and contributing to essential financial reporting.
What you'll be doing:
- Oversee and maintain our Travel & Expense platforms, including corporate cards and travel solutions.
- Assist in preparing reporting packs and key performance indicators (KPIs), continuously analysing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the Month-End Closing process, including posting journals, reconciling balance sheets, and identifying potential risks.
- Provide operational support and ensure adherence to financial controls across T&E systems and policies.
- Play a key role in supporting the company’s Carbon Footprint Reporting for T&E by preparing and consolidating data.
- Develop and maintain procedural documents, taking initiative to enhance business processes.
- Work with various teams to resolve queries, escalating issues when necessary.
- Produce and publish business communications and handle ad hoc queries from internal stakeholders.
About you:
- Proficient in Excel (or similar software like Google Sheets) with experience handling large data sets.
- Financial background, ideally with experience in balance sheet reconciliations and journal posting.
- Working towards a Finance qualification (ACCA, CIMA) is advantageous.
- Strong communicator, able to engage confidently with internal teams and external partners.
- Well-organised, able to multitask, and work efficiently under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
- A natural problem solver, able to work independently and contribute to team goals.
