With more than 130 years of financial experience and over 22,000 partners, we serve the world’s most sophisticated clients using leading technology and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Determining the drivers of GBP intraday liquidity usage, compiling monthly reporting used by the Chicago Liquidity team and senior management.

  • Calculating and monitoring CREST positions within each PID, seeking the required approval prior to changing in the GUI, to facilitate settlement.
  • Management of T2S activity by using Central Bank and Internal systems. Ensure that no transactions fail due to a lack of euro liquidity, and limits raised where necessary in line with procedures.
  • Calculating Currency, Euro, and Sterling Investments, traded by the EMEA Treasury Desk. This will require business unit collaboration to ensure position accuracy.
  • Re-balancing nostros through accurate funding transfers, avoiding any unnecessary closing balances attracting potential charges and regulatory breaches.
  • Proactively monitoring intraday transactional settlement across London, Luxembourg, and NTGS via internal and external GUI’s, taking remedial action within the appropriate time to mitigate settlement risk.
  • Working closely with the EMEA Treasury, Credit, and external custodian/sub-custodians to manage risk.
  • Completing Standard Balance Reporting on all currencies within the times set, annotating the drivers behind predicted vs. actual balances.
  • Retrospectively analysing Funding and Investment decisions, putting in place remedial action(s) to aid in future decisions taken.
  • Proactively looking to re-engineer processes to improve efficiency and controls.
  • Compile Profit & Loss reporting, analyse deltas, and provide commentary to management and Finance.
  • Keeping procedures up to date, capture any changes, and ensure appropriate sign-off.
