Oversee Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs) and fund transactions to ensure that deals are in compliance with deal documents. Work with the Boston team to ensure seamless service and accurate and timely delivery of information. Interact with the Boston team on a daily basis to address and resolve issues.
A Senior Associate within STA is responsible for maintaining the daily operation of structured finance trusts and assisting management with the team. Job duties include the development of skills in the areas of securities processing and review, compliance testing and data management and reconciliation.
- Develop system related and conceptual knowledge and skills associated with the types of services provided by STA.
- Managing and manipulating large amounts of data in Microsoft Excel
- Comply with internal procedures and specified deadlines
- Assist in training new hires and junior associates
- Other special projects and tasks as assigned
- Systems: Wall Street Office, MS Excel, MS Outlook, CDO Suite, LoanOps Portal, My State Street, Bloomberg, LS Fax, Collaborate
Requirements:
- University degree in Business majoring in Accounting, Finance, or another Financial-related program. Inter C.A. / Inter ICWAI or CFA (pursuing) will be preferred
- Prior relevant work experience of 6+ years and experience in fixed income debt securities
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize deadline-driven workflow
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Strong project management skills
- Candidate must be detail oriented and a natural problem solver; have the resolve to independently research problems and offer solutions
- Ability to work both independently and in group settings and can operate on short- and long-term goals.
- Ability to work in a deadline oriented group with peak period workflow
