The Opportunity
We have an immediate opportunity for a Junior Treasury Analyst in our Abbott Park, IL location.
As the Junior Treasury Analyst you’ll be responsible for fund transfers, foreign exchange exchange processes, daily cash management, netting process management, remote check deposits, month end reporting, bank account reconciliation and bank fee analysis.
What You’ll Work On- Manage foreign exchange transactions confirmation process. Activities include ensuring trade confirmations are received from various banking partners, run and review reports confirming trades are properly loaded into SAP and third-party trade confirmation online platform. Instruct delivery of Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Manage daily communication and correspondence with affiliate finance groups and external financial partners relating to funds transfers and foreign exchange currency transactions. Communications include currency payment instructions and trade confirmations with relevant internal and external parties.
- Investigate and resolve any internal and external payment delivery inquiries.
- Maintain close relationships with external financial partners and affiliate personnel.
- Assist with coordination of monthly netting (intercompany transactions settlement) process.
- Perform set up and ongoing maintenance of netting participants and users.
- Manage intercompany loan documentation process with affiliates and Area Treasurers. Responsible for creating and processing proper loan documentation between affiliates and maintaining tracking database of active and matured loan agreements.
- Assist with daily cash management activities.
- Complete bank account reconciliations.
- Complete month-end reporting.
- Initiate wire transfers and update predefined wire transfer templates.
- Processes checks via remote deposit.
- Provide support to Investment Funds Group.
- Complete monthly comprehensive bank fee analysis and work with Global Treasury Operations management on resolving any discrepancies.
- Assist management with Shareholder Services activities.
- Serve as a backup to Corporate Treasury team members.
- Maintain comprehensive business process procedures.
- Assist management with ad-hoc projects.
- BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact with internal and external parties at various levels
- Attention to detail with a propensity for continuous improvement
- Prior Finance/Accounting experience is preferred

The base pay for this position is $48,000.00 – $96,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
