Our client, a reputable general insurance company, is seeking a highly skilled Regional Finance Manager / Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the finance function within a dynamic, regional insurance environment.

About the job

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Finance on finance transformation projects.
  • Act as a key liaison for requests and updates from the APAC region.
  • Coordinate across departments to ensure smooth execution of finance-related projects.
  • Oversee financial reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Work with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes, including the preparation and review of audit schedules.
  • Review journal entries, reconciliations, and other critical financial documents.
  • Coordinate year-end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Skills and experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Proven experience in finance transformation and project management.
  • Strong communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively across regions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
