Assistant Manager/ Manager - Financial Control

The Company

Our client is a reputable asset manager with a strong presence in Asia. They are looking to expand the financial control team.

The Role

• Participate in month-end reconciliations and month-end closing process to ensure accuracy and accountability of financial record
• Complete regular and ad-hoc financial reporting to different stakeholders
• Responsible on updating procedure documents on key reporting processes
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Provide support during audits and ensure that all financial practices are in line with statutory laws and regulations.
• Assistance in special projects and provide on-going improvements to the finance operation to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency

Your Profile

• Degree or above with major in Business Administration or Finance related discipline is preferred
• Big 4 professional firms experience would be an advantage
• CPA or equivalent qualification
• Good knowledge of accounting standards and ability to collect and assess financial data in efficient and effective way
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel will be an advantage
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese
