Apex Group seeks a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our inclusive and collaborative team. This full-time Accountant remote role offers a favourable salary and benefits package, including the opportunity to explore flexible working arrangements.

As an Accountant, you will provide day-to-day accounting and financial reporting services to a portfolio of Private Equity and Venture Capital clients and structures, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.

To give you an idea of how this Public Accountant role would look and feel, here are some things you could expect to do:
  • Ensure that all matters required to be completed are performed in a timely and satisfactory manner, including monitoring tasks
  • Work closely with the full team to ensure the provision of high-quality client service
  • Response to requests and inquiries from client and manage client relationship ensuring that client responsibilities are managed effectively and to agreed client, best practice, regulatory and statutory deadlines
  • Undertake reviewer responsibilities for accounts linked to simple and complex structures
  • Responsible for reviewing payments, periodic management accounts, capital calls and distributions, capital account statements, investors' reporting templates, year-end financial statements etc.
To apply for this accounting role, you will need a Bachelor's degree or above; a major in accounting or related majors is preferred. You will also require the following:
  • Over five years of experience in fund administration, alternative asset management, and public accounting
  • Solid knowledge and practice of IFRS, US GAAP and PRC GAAP
  • Knowledge of computer skills, including MS Office, Oracle, Efront, or similar.
