My client is currently in search of an experienced and dedicated Accounts Payable Team Leader to oversee a team of Accounts Payables. This role will support an Accounts Payable Manager and ensure the smooth running of all financial transactions within the charity.

Description
- Oversee a team of Accounts Payable Assistants, reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager.
- You will make sure that all supplier invoice payments are processed efficiently and to a good standard.
- Manage the accounting team and ensure everyone is reaching their KPIs & being supported in the right way to do this.
- Ensure all invoices are validated and coded correctly.
- Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
- Manage financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary.
- Participate in regular tax audits and payroll.
- Deal with escalated concerns and queries.
- Provide monthly reconciliations & monthly dashboard reports.
- Review payment runs, cash processes and direct debits.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Team Leader should have:
- Extensive accounts payable experience working in a large organisation with high volume.
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or similar field.
- Prior experience in a Accounts Payable team/ overseeing junior staff.
- Strong knowledge of double entry accounting, V Look Ups and Pivot Tables.
- Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.
- Detailed excel experience and good knowledge of accounting softwares.
- Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
