E2E Financial & Reporting Junior Accountant - Your future position?
As an E2E Financial & Reporting Junior Accountant you will be the main Finance contact of local sales entities. You will manage the Accounting (following IFRS / Givaudan Group standard) of the sites that do not have a local finance representative. Payroll related journals will be provided by a local 3rd party supplier, with whom you also need to collaborate. The local supplier requires in addition to that the relevant IFRS data posting set from you, that enables the supplier to perform Statutory adjustments for local accounting and reporting purposes. Local Tax related matters will be managed by the third-party supplier whilst group reporting Tax entries have to be performed by you. You will report to the Global Solution Expert FICO Projects Lead.
You will:
Process invoices:
Book following IFRS and create payment entries in the online Bank platform
Book required transactions in SAP following IFRS requirements, including but not limited to:
- IFRS 16
- Building Accruals & Provisions
- Currency revaluation
- Cash advances, Service Fee (+AR), Mark up
- CAPEX related transactions,
- Book payroll data received from 3rd party
Perform Month-End Closing and Reporting following IFRS in SAP & BOFC (Group Consolidation System)
Entity Management Reporting
Business Partnering
- Build relationships with the business and partners
- Take over ownership to find solution for encountered issues
- Collaborate with Local & 3rd party teams to support their daily operations
Migration and Improvement
- Ensure knowledge transfer goals are met
- Prepare and update work instructions, process manual
- Contribute to and manage end-to-end process improvements
- Participate in and coordinate projects
- Provide support and train junior team members and ensure knowledge transfer
Your professional profile includes:
- Education/ primary qualification:
- Diploma: Finance degree or equivalent (like Chartered accountant)
- Languages: Fluent English; Spanish will be a plus.
- Professional experience: up to 2 years in Finance ; Fixed asset and/or Intercompany experience
Required skills:
- SAP knowledge is an advantage (or relevant accounting software)
- Excel (ability to maintain complex spreadhseets) and MS Office
