Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of analysts in executing timely and accurate management of general accounting and reporting processes, providing guidance and oversight to ensure adherence to best practices and standards.
  • Mentor and develop team members, providing ongoing coaching and support to enhance their skills, knowledge, and performance.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to address complex accounting issues and drive resolution, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance against established metrics and objectives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize productivity and accuracy.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on local accounting standards, policies, and procedures, providing guidance and interpretation to team members and facilitating compliance.
  • Lead the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives within the team, leveraging insights and feedback to drive efficiency gains and enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Act as a point of escalation for resolving complex issues and disputes, leveraging expertise and experience to reach timely and effective resolutions.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on team performance, accomplishments, and areas for improvement, contributing to strategic decision-making and planning processes.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
  • Extensive experience in leading teams within a BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model, with a strong understanding of operational dynamics.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proficient in overseeing and ensuring the accuracy of reconciliation processes for reports and accounts, with a keen eye for identifying discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving collective goals, while fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing processes, and implementing best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken (C1 or at least B2), with the capacity to articulate complex ideas and strategies clearly and concisely.
