Senior Analyst, Benefit Payments

Summary:

The successful candidate will work with our Northern Trust clients and partners by providing taxation advice. The individual will be responsible for tax and retirement planning, trust, and/or investment products.

Major Duties:

  • Assists in tax planning and researches, prepares and monitors specific reports.
  • Responsible for the reviewing and preparing of complex tax products in compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Completion of daily/monthly/quarterly and annual reconciliation of various demand deposit accounts and general ledger accounts.

Experience and Skills:

  • A College or University degree and /or 1 year of experience in account reconcilement.
  • Preferred experience with payroll, tax filings and deposits.
  • Analytical, procedurally competent and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Attention to detail and collaboration skills are required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
