Join our growing team in Madrid as a Portfolio Accounting officer.
As part of a dedicated expert team, you will be responsible for the delivery of Alter Domus’ world-class suite of integrated solutions to a portfolio of clients.
YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the OPS team to gain functional knowledge of the portfolio accounting principles to accurately input, review, analyze and record-keep portfolios;
- Gain expertise in relevant software and our internal accounting platform to ensure accuracy of output;
- Learn to process all life cycle events of our engagements;
- Create, review and distribute reconciliations and customized periodic reporting to senior management;
- Update client portfolios and other vendor data jointly with senior management;
- Oversee data flow and comparison between systems to validate that output is accurate;
- Liaise and cooperate with internal account management teams to ensure timely response to senior management inquiries;
- Effectively interact with internal parties, including Compliance and Finance teams (both, local and central);
- Take part in the analysis and supervision of profitability, product/client mix, WIP, cost structure, etc. along with the senior management.
- Participation in the company-wide projects with impacts on the above-mentioned areas.
YOUR PROFILE:
- Strong academic background, preferably with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Audit.
- Up to 3 years relevant experience within the fields of accounting or audit.
- High level of IT literacy with strong Excel and Word skills.
- English level: B2 and higher.
- Knowledge of main accounting software/ERPs.
- High analytical skills;
- Good communication skills, proactive, organized and flexible;
- You possess team spirit with the ability to work independently using your own initiative when appropriate.
- Ambitious with a high level of energy and commitment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines.
