Job purpose
As a Senior consultant within the Strategy and Transaction team, you’ll participate in due diligence engagements related to transactions involving private equity investor groups and strategic corporate buyers. You will analyze the financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale or for acqusition by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with management.
You will make technical contributions to valuation engagements and internal projects. You will gain a thorough understanding of the target businesses and the respective markets, and of clients’ issues, performing research and analysis of the target’s industry and of quoted companies operating in that sector.
Responsibilities
- Perform industry and company research utilizing online tools and publicly available information
- Analyze financial and operational results of companies targeted for sale by reviewing accounting records and participating in interviews with key personnel
- Prepare various analysis of historical financial information to assess trends and fluctuations that may impact cash flow requirements
- Prepare reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and third parties
- Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with clients
- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
Requirements
- Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or similar field
- Accountancy background
- Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience is a must
- Experience in due-diligence projects would be considered as an advantage
- Previous audit experience would be considered as an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Bulgarian and English
- Excellent technical and computer skills - Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy
- Self-motivated, positive attitude
- Strong analytical, teamwork and organizational skills
- Willingness to learn
- ACCA/CFA membership will be considered as an advantage
