As a Client Service Rep, you will work alongside members of the Relationship Manager, Operations, Client Onboarding, and other teams with variety of responsibilities, including;

  • Responding to client inquiries, troubleshooting problems, providing information, and ensuring client satisfaction with service and products offered by Financing Solutions.
  • Oversee process to update clients’ program parameters on systems and assist in reviewing correct client lending profiles; conduct regular review of client parameters set up in the systems to ensure adherence to client guidelines
  • Responsible for managing internal risk and compliance matters pertaining to assigned client relationships, as well as coordinating any required client specific requirements.
  • Monitor client satisfaction and financial performance, and take proactive steps to address complaints, escalate risks and opportunities in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Manage program communications with clients; Prepare presentations, benchmarking data and performance updates for clients; Research and discuss factors impacting clients’ lending performance;
  • Operate as part of regional-wide Client Service team to provide support and coverage to clients needs across the entire APAC region (not limited to Japan)
  • Partner with Financing Solutions Relationship Managers to support top strategic program relationships
  • Support onboarding and set up of new clients relationships through close collaboration with Sales team and Onboarding functions
  • Close collaboration with Global Services and other State Street division partners for joint clients; address any operational issues and/or identify potential cross-sales opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong language skills in Japanese and English.
  • 5 - 7 years securities lending, custody banking and/or accounting experience.
  • Strong team player who is comfortable working across complex organizations and collaborating with partners
  • Knowledge of financial markets, custody banking and preferably the securities lending industry
  • Sales and/or relationship management experience with financial institutions and/or hedge funds is preferred
  • Knowledge of MCH or DML preferred
  • Technical expertise / knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Salesforce
  • The candidate should have strong written skills and be able to effectively organize and effectively prioritize workload
