The Role
The Audit Senior will form part of our highly trained teams of audit professionals servicing an array of clients within several industries. The chosen candidate will be given the opportunity to become exposed to various interesting projects within these key industries, collaborate with professionals across the KPMG network, and be able to build on their knowledge and experience within a global expert in the audit and accounting sector.

Key responsibilities
- Form part of specialized teams in the audits of entities involved in a variety of industries present in Malta ranging from financial institutions, gaming and private enterprise;
- Provide training to other less experienced staff on International Standards on Auditing, International Financial Reporting Standards and of global methodologies in use by network firms as part of professional services;
- Provide training to others in the use of specialized KPMG software tools;
- Form part of the Firm’s focus teams specializing in specific areas of accounting and auditing expertise; and
- Interact with other KPMG professionals within the local and network firms as well as the interaction with other professionals emanating from other disciplines in order to be able to provide and support in the delivery of audit engagements.
Requirements
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or ACCA qualification;
- Have 1-3 years’ relevant experience within the external audit practice. Previous experience within Big 4 audit firms will be considered an asset.
- Be able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality;
- Be effective in time management and in delivering results;
- Be career driven and passionate about work;
- Be a team player; and
- Proficiency in English
