Support the Banker in client solutioning, service and the identification of leads by being an active member of the Client
Relationship Team. The Relationship Service Manager assists the Banker with sales research, relationship
development, needs analysis and risk management of client portfolios. The RSM also serves as the second point of contact
to the client.

Description

Product Sales and Customer Solutions: Responsible for vanilla products and their cross-selling to existing clients, increasing the cross-sell ratio of each client to ensure 100% client needs are met. Collaborate with product specialists to ensure clients receive comprehensive solutions.

Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain contacts with individuals within the client's organization. Act as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Banker. Assist in the introduction and coordination of clients to and from other areas of the Absa Group to ensure comprehensive service.

Service Improvement and Customer Satisfaction: Analyze client satisfaction surveys, propose improvement measures, and identify potential new clients by building and maintaining a database of prospects. Assist in arranging product presentations and conduct service reviews with clients, implementing corrective measures to enhance service quality.

Risk and Operational Management: Coordinate the signing of security and Local Documentary Product (LDP) documentation. Handle interest claims and fraudulent transactions. Assist Credit Operations in ensuring the safety of portfolio limits and ensure clients comply with credit approval conditions.

Financial and Performance Management: Assist the Banker in monthly analysis and management to ensure accurate reflection of income for each portfolio. Proactively identify and eliminate any negative income/downward trends. Monitor client portfolios to collect various fee incomes.

Business Support and Team Collaboration: Prepare information and attend client meetings to support client service. Follow up on the setup of new clients and products in relevant systems. Develop and maintain contacts with experts in other areas of the Group. Work closely with the Banker, Credit Analyst, Customer Service Consultant, and others as part of a solutioning team.

Profile

B Degree in Commerce or Finance or CAIB or IOB or equivalent NQF level 6 or higher

3 Years experience in a client facing and/or commercial banking environment,3 Years Banking Sales experience

Personal and Interpersonal Skills,Business Skills,Industry Knowledge on the dynamics of the market place
