Job Title: Jira Administrator
Location: Onsite - Mumbai
Job Summary: The Jira Administrator will be responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all the client's Jira instances. This role requires an understanding of Jira functionalities, as well as the ability to troubleshoot issues, manage user permissions, and ensure that the Jira environment supports the needs of the organization effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Jira Administration: Configure and manage Jira instances, including creating and maintaining projects, workflows, issue types, and custom fields.
• User Management: Manage user permissions and groups and ensure proper access control.
• System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including upgrades, patches, and backups.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to Jira functionality, performance, and integrations.
• Support: Provide technical support to Jira users and stakeholders.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation related to Jira configurations, processes, and best practices.
• Compliance: Ensure that Jira usage complies with organizational policies and security standards.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Experience as a Jira Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of Jira and its ecosystem. We are looking for candidates with a total 5-7 years' experience, including 6-12 months of experience as a JIRA administrator or alternatively, have experience of completing at least 1 full Jira implementation.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of Jira Could, Proficiency in Jira administration, including workflow design, permissions management, and troubleshooting. A good understanding of SDLC, service management processes is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Jira Administrator Certification (ACP-120) or equivalent certification is preferred.
