Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be managing various aspects of shipping operations, including financial accounting, vessel management, and regulatory compliance.

Description

Manage and process charter hire payments accurately and promptlyEnsure timely invoicing of expenses to owners and sub-charterersConduct monthly financial analysis of owner accounts and recoveriesMaintain accurate accounting records for all liabilities, expenses, and payments related to ownersCollaborate with relevant departments to resolve owner disputesMonitor and follow up on payments from and to owners and sub-charterersClose owner accounts promptly and accuratelyAdhere to internal financial guidelines and deadlinesPrepare necessary schedules for audits and address audit findingsSupport ad-hoc financial projects as needed

Profile

• Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment
